Five injured after four-vehicle crash shuts down I-70

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police said five people were injured in a four-vehicle crash in east Columbus on Monday.

First responders have closed westbound lanes of Interstate 70 between South Hamilton Road and I-270 due to the crash.

Four of the victims were taken to Grant Medical Center; one was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Conditions are unknown according to police.

Roads were shut down at about 8:15pm after the crash was reported and reopened at about 11pm.
