Police search for suspects in connection with robbery near OSU campus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) –Police continue to search for suspects in connection with a robbery near the OSU campus Friday.

Just after 7pm, an Ohio State affiliate reported he was approached by two men driving a silver Chevy sedan at the corner of Borror Drive and Fred Taylor Drive.

He said the passenger exited the car and came toward him with a knife. He said the man stole his backpack, cell phone, laptop and money. The suspects then fled in the car, northbound toward Ackerman Road.

The first suspect is described as a black male approximately 25 to 30-years-old. He is 5’11” to six feet tall with a medium build and medium complexion. He has a tattoo on his right shoulder and is wearing a T-shirt and black shorts.

The second suspect is described as 25 to 30-years-old as well. He’s a black man standing 5’11” to six feet tall. He has a medium complexion and is wearing a red T-shirt.

The suspects are believed to have left the campus area at this time. Police are increasing patrols in the area. They are still asking students to remain vigilant.
