President Obama makes first appearance on ‘Tonight Show’

NEW YORK (WCMH) – “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” will welcome President Barack Obama to Studio 6B tonight for the first time.

This isn’t the first time he’s appeared on the show, however. Fallon previously interviewed and slow jammed the news with the president on April 24, 2012 during a special “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” broadcast from the campus of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The President’s interview was taped on Wednesday while he was in New York to attend two Democratic fundraisers.

The Tonight Show” tapes before a live studio audience from Studio 6B in 30 Rockefeller Center and airs at 11:35 p.m. on NBC4.
