Two injured after shooting in Newark, two suspects at large

NEWARK, OH (WCMH) — Two men have been hospitalized after a shooting on the north side of Newark, Monday.

According to the Newark Police Department, at about 2:26pm, officers were called to the 600 block of Glenbrook Drive on the report of a shooting.

Police say two men were hospitalized in the shooting and a person of interest has been taken into custody. They are still looking for two other men.

Police say they’re looking for a white or gray pickup with large rear tires, no tailgate with the license plate covered. If spotted, call police right away.

The shooting remains under investigation and police continue to interview witnesses.
