VIDEO: Bear survives after being hit by truck on highway

HOWELL CO., MO (WCMH) — A bear manages to run off after being hit by a truck doing 65mph down a Missouri highway.

In a video released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, you can see the bear run right in front of the truck, get hit, and then take off running again.

The highway patrol says the bear was uninjured in the incident, but warns people that even an injured bear can be dangerous.

Troopers warn that if you hit a bear, call authorities and wait for an officer to arrive.
