AKRON, OH (WCMH) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says six kilos of heroin and a half pound of cocaine were seized during a traffic stop in Summit County.

According to the OSHP, troopers stopped a 2016 Lincoln Navigator with Michigan registration for speeding, at about 12:59pm, June 24, on Interstate 76.

Troopers say a drug-sniffing K9 alerted on the vehicle after criminal indicators were indicated and a search revealed the drugs.

Roberto Campas, of Canton, Ohio, the driver of the vehicle, and Ernesto Medina, 32, of Bell, California, were charged with possession of heroin and cocaine, and aggravated trafficking in drugs.

Each suspect faces up to 30 years in prison and a $60,000 fine.
