Deputies charge 3 in Vinton County for manufacturing meth

WILKERSVILLE, OH (WCMH) — Deputies in Vinton County say three people were arrested and two children were removed from a home after meth making materials were found.

According to the Vinton County Sheriff’s Office, parole officers making a home visit at a residence in Wilkesville discovered several items that were used to make methamphetamine using the “one pot” or “shake and bake” method.

Deputies say a search of the home resulted in the discovery of multiple containers of what is believed to be “toxic sludge”, the left over from the meth making process.

A 12-year-old child and a 15-year-old child were also found in the home during the search.
