Gun shop raffles off AR-15 rifle to benefit Orlando shooting victims

McHENRY, IL (WCMH) – An Illinois gun shop is raffling off an AR-15 rifle and donating the proceeds to the victims of the Orlando shooting victims.

The raffle will be held on July 31 at the Second Amendment Sports Store in McHenry, Illinois, WGN-TV reports.

The top prize in the raffle is a Smith & Wesson M&P-15.

“We’re looking to support the victims, the families and the survivors of this act. And how we do that, is in our own way. And for our industry, this isn’t weird. It’s a normal product. It’s bought every day buy Americans across the United States,” said co-owner Bert Irslinger Jr.

Raffle tickets are selling for $5 each with proceeds going to the OneOrlando fund.

The store is also donating $2,000 of its own money.
