COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Investigators are asking for help tracking down a stolen vehicle and the two suspected thieves.
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers released this photo of a 1994 Ford pick-up truck reported stolen from the 2000 block of West Broad Street on May 10. Investigators said there had been ongoing arguments and disputes over parking spaces within an apartment complex in the area where the theft occurred.
The red stolen truck as a vehicle identification number of 1FTCR1OA3RUC72596. It has a matching camper shell, four matching tires with “500” written in white, a bent back bumper and the tailgate reading “Do not text and drive,” “Stay sober or get pulled over” and “Lookout for MC.”
Investigators said one suspect has been arrested, but two unidentified tow truck drivers are wanted for removing the vehicle without the owner’s permission. Both suspects are described as white men last seen wearing white t-shirts and dark pants. One suspect is bald and overweight. The other has a thin build with short hair. A flat-bed style tow truck was used to remove the vehicle.
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest or indictment of the people responsible for this crime.
