PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, MD (WCMH) — Police across the country are reporting a surge in support after the fatal shootings in Dallas.
For one Maryland man, he wanted to thank police in his own way.
“I just wanted to call briefly to say thank you all for what you do,” said Curtis Bean on the 911 call.
“We all just need to learn how to get along,” Bean told WJLA.
Also in the 911 call, Bean offered his support and his home for any officer in need.
“If there’s any officers over this way, absolutely please have ’em stop by for a second. I can give ‘em a cold water, shake their hand, say a quick prayer for them, send them on their way.”
Bean says he means the invitation as well, “Because I understand right now it’s a hard time in this country for everybody and I really appreciate what it is that the police officers do.”
