Robbers hit same pizza joint 3 times in 3 weeks

CHILLICOTHE, OH (WCMH) — Police are asking for help tracking down the suspect or suspects who robbed a Chillicothe restaurant three times since late last month.

Chillicothe police said the robberies, which occurred at the Marco’s Pizza restaurant at 1012 Western Avenue, happened at about the same time each night, with the male suspect using a weapon in each instance.

The suspect in the first robbery entered the store just before 11:25pm on June 27. The man threatened employees with a knife and demanded money from the business. The suspect was described as a male with a small build, last seen wearing dark-colored plaid lounge pants, a light-colored two-tone sweatshirt worn inside out, a camouflage hood over his head and something dark covering his face. He was also wearing black shoes with a white trim.

The second robbery occurred at 11:30pm on July 8, with a male subject wielding a machete and demanding money. Police describe this suspect as a man between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a very thin build. He was seen wearing similar pants, sweatshirt, hood and shoes as the first suspect, in addition to a dark-colored bandana and sunglasses over his face.

The third robbery happened at 11:23pm on July 15. This time, the suspect was seen with a long-barrel firearm. He was described as short and very thin, wearing a light-colored sweatshirt with a hood, bandana and sunglasses.
