Ohio teen charged with punching, throwing dog

WARREN, OH (WKBN) – A 17-year-old Warren boy was charged with cruelty to animals and intimidation after he was witnessed beating a dog, according to police.

Police said the teen was seen punching a dog several times before throwing it on the ground in the area of Belvedere Avenue SE and Youngstown Road. The assault was captured on tape Tuesday morning.

Police said the boy threatened to kill the witness who was filming the abuse, and he also threatened an officer while at the police station.
