MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WCMH) — It takes cat-like reflexes and great concentration to be a soccer goalie to prevent opposing players from hitting the back of the net. But what are you supposed to do when you score a goal against yourself?
Minnesota United Football Club goalie Sammy Ndjock had a rough night Wednesday during an international friendly against Premier League’s AFC Bournemouth.
One play in particular goes especially wrong for him.
Ndjock was trying to pass the ball back to one of his teammates when the throws the ball and it goes into his own goal instead.
Unfortunately, things didn’t get any better for Ndjock as Bournemouth beat Minnesota United 3-0.
