BOSTON, MA (WCMH) — Security video shows dozens of teenagers ransacking a Boston convenience store as the owner attempts to fend them off.
Store owner Gloria Mantas says most of the suspects were teenagers and she wants the parents to step up with an apology.
“These parents have to know where their kids are and what they’re doing. They’re young kids. 14, 15, 16, teenagers. Less than 20. This has never happened before here. Never. I would like one of those kids parents to come up to me and tell me ‘I’m sorry.’ That’s what I want.”
The mob hit the store shortly after midnight, and took about $200 worth of goods.
Mantas says nothing like this has ever happened before in the 30 years since the store was opened.
