Police searching for suspects after a man is attacked and robbed in Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are asking for the public’s help after a man was attacked and robbed in Columbus Sunday evening.

It was after 6pm when a 19-year-old man was walking west on East 6th Avenue at Summit Street. He was attacked from behind by several unknown males. The men robbed him of his pants and shoes.

A surveillance camera at a local business caught the attack on video.

Now the police are asking anyone with information to contact the Robbery Unit at (614) 645-4665.
