FFN Preview: DeSales

In the Central Catholic League, St. Francis DeSales football team looks to be in a good position to have another strong season.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – In the Central Catholic League, St. Francis DeSales football team looks to be in a good position to have another strong season. Last year, the Stallions had a 10-2 overall record, and they return several seniors that remember the feeling of losing too early in the regional semi-finals.

DeSales return eight players on defense that saw substantial playing time last season, and they are powered by senior defensive lineman Derrius Mullins. Mullins recently committed to play Division I college football at Indiana next year. Senior Captain and defensive back Jared Noble is also committed to play college football in the Ivy League for Columbia next year.

The Stallions have a home non-conference game against Lancaster on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 7pm.
