Woman in critical condition after east Columbus stabbing

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are investigating a stabbing on the city’s far east side that sent a woman to the hospital in critical condition.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 3:05pm, Monday, Crystal Livengood, 23, was visiting a friend in the 4600 block of Hebrides Drive, when Ashli Petty, 21, arrived and attempted to fight Livengood.

Police say during the fight, Petty stabbed Livengood.

Livengood was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Petty was taken into custody by police, who continue to investigate the incident.
