UberEATS launches food delivery service in Columbus today

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Uber’s new food delivery service called UberEATS will start taking orders to homes across Columbus today.

The ride share program announced Tuesday that Columbus residents will be able to have food delivered from their favorite local restaurants to their door.

UberEATS will be a separate app with deliveries available seven days a week.

According to the company, ” UberEATS creates a new way for people to get the food they love; opening up new economic opportunities for delivery partners; and enabling Columbus’ best local restaurants to connect with more customers.”

Deliveries are scheduled to start Wednesday, August 17.
