One woman arrested in South Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A Columbus man fled from gunfire and ended up crashing his car in the process Wednesday afternoon.

Around 2:52 pm Wednesday officers received a call about a shooting on Harmon Avenue.

The victim, 19-year-old Austin Grubb, was sitting in his car when a woman approached his vehicle and began shooting at him. When he attempted to get away, she shot at his car  and he crashed. Mr. Grubb got out of his vehicle and ran away from the scene, but the woman continued to shoot and struck him in the leg once.

A residence on Harmon Avenue was also shot during the incident.

The suspect was later identified as 38-year-old Kelli S. Osborn, who has now been arrested and faces charges for felonious assault and discharge into a habitation.

Mr. Grubb was transported to Mount Carmel West by the Columbus Fire Department and is in stable condition.
