COLUMBUS, Ohio – Watterson stands a tradition-rich program that always has high expectations for a strong season in the Central Catholic League as they strive to win the title. The Eagles finished with a 6-5 overall record last season, and clinched a playoff berth where they knocked off the No. 1 seed, Hamilton Township.
Head coach Dan Bjelec said his team had a strong off-season, and he is pleased with the chemistry this year. The Eagles’ defense returns Nate Meyer, a junior defensive back who had 25 tackles last season and senior linebacker Max Bratka, who had 45 tackles last season.
