Comparing airlines’ legroom

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — It’s always nice to have some legroom when you’re flying, but as it turns out there’s no standard amount given in each airline.

According to CNN, Jet Blue provides the most average legroom for its passengers with 34 inches.

Virgin America Southwest comes in second with 32 inches of legroom, followed by Delta American at 31 inches and United at 30 inches.

Spirit airline comes in last place in regards to fliers’ legroom at 28 inches.

CNN published the information provided by SeatGuru, that was released March 1, 2016.

The measurements were compared on a single-aisle aircraft, including the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 in economy class seats.
