Columbus man wanted for domestic violence, assault after confrontation with children’s mothers

COLUMBUS (WCMH)–Columbus Police are looking for a man who allegedly punched a woman in the face and broke a car window while several of his children were inside.

Police say Jamar T. Patterson, 21, is wanted for two counts of domestic violence, two counts of assault, and a count of criminal damaging.

On Aug. 21, police say two of his childrens’ mothers were in a vehicle together when they saw Patterson walking near W. Broad St. and N. Eureka Ave. His three children were in the car.

The driver reportedly confronted him for not being faithful, and he punched her in the face.

Police say the passenger tried to roll up her window as Patterson approached her, and he broke the glass. This woman suffered minor injuries.

None of the children were physically harmed, police say. Anyone who has info on the whereabouts of Jamar T.
