COLUMBUS (WCMH) — As part of the effort to combat youth violence, the mayor’s office at Columbus City Hall wants to make people aware of some of the resources available across the city to area youth.
The list of resources follows an NBC4 Town Hall on Youth Violence Tuesday night. The goal of the town hall was to promote a conversation between city leaders, civic leaders and members of our community. Attendees also had a chance to have their voice heard.
Below is a list of resources to share with other young residents of Columbus:
Columbus Recreation and Parks Department
Columbus APPS (Applications for Purpose, Pride and Success)
S.O.A.R.hire! Summer Youth Employment Initiative
Free Meals Program
Columbus Metropolitan Library
