COLUMBUS (WCMH)–Police have identified a Columbus man as a suspect in the shooting of two juveniles who were walking home from a football game.
Malyk Dumas, 19, has been arrested and charged with felonious assault.
Police said a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds in the 1500 block of Kohr Place on Aug. 26. They told police they were coming home from the Linden McKinley game when they were shot.
Dumas arrived at an area hospital sometime later with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police say he was identified as the suspect in a photo array, and admitted to the shooting when he was interviewed.
