COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Columbus City Attorney’s Office says it will not pursue charges against Dallas Cowboys runningback Ezekiel Elliott.

Elliott was accused of domestic violence in by Tiffany Thompson. Thompson claimed that Elliott was her former live-in boyfriend and told officers he assaulted her multiple times between July 17 and July 22, leaving her with several bruises.

Thompson provided investigators with photographs of visible injuries and text messages she exchanged with Elliott. The City Attorney’s Office said conflicting and inconsistent information across the five incidents did not sufficiently support any filing of criminal charges.
