Missing Westerville boy found

WESTERVILLE (WCMH) — The Westerville Divisions of Fire and Police say they have found 11-year-old John Stewart Stevens.

Stevens was reported missing shortly after midnight Thursday.

He was last seen at Walnut Springs Middle School and had been missing since the end of the school day.

According to Westerville officials, Stevens is reported as a special-needs child.

He was reported missing by his family around 3:30 pm and is believed to have walked away from detention. He is believed to still be on foot.

He is five feet tall, weighs 90 pounds, and has short blond hair. He wears prescription glasses and was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt, blue running shorts, and black shoes. He was carrying a red and black lunchbox with a green Camelbak water bottle.
