Columbus Fire says airport is ‘all clear’ after suspicious package investigation

COLUMBUS (WCMH)–Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Steve Martin says the airport is ‘all-clear’ after the report of a suspicious item found.

A building at the John Glenn Columbus International Airport was evacuated as the Columbus Division of Fire’s bomb squad investigated a suspicious item.

A K9 officer found a suspicious package in the southwest cargo building, according to airport officials and the Columbus Division of Fire.

This does not affect the airport itself. No flights are delayed and the airport is not evacuating.
