The Lancaster Playhouse announces its season opening

LANCASTER, OH (WCMH) — The Lancaster Playhouse opens for its second season next weekend with a one-act play festival.

Attendees will be treated to a unique collection of four one-act plays, including Edward Albee’s “The Zoo Story,” James Prideaux’s “Lemonade,” Mark Twain’s “The Diaries of Adam and Eve” and Alice Gerstenberg’s “Fourteen.”

The Lancaster Playhouse is a community theater that involves people from all over the Central Ohio area in acting, directing, prop management and much more.

Are you looking for a creative outlet but haven’t quite found it yet? Consider volunteering at the Lancaster Playhouse! The theater could use help with ushering and intermission, greeting guests, building sets, managing props, costumes and publicity.
