Reynoldsburg police searching for Speedway armed robbery suspects

REYNOLDSBURG, OH (WCMH) — Police are looking for two suspects accused of an armed robbery of a Speedway early Saturday morning.

According to the Reynoldsburg Division of Police, at about 4:04am, September 17, two men entered the Speedway in the 7800 block of E. Main Street.

Police say the first man walked to the counter and told the clerk, “We can do this the hard way or we can do this the easy way,” and pulled a handgun from his waist band.

The suspect then walked around the counter and told the clerk, “I’ll shoot you right now,” while pointing the gun at the clerk’s head.

According to police, the suspect then opened the cash register drawer and took all the bills out.

The second suspect acted as a lookout and at one point yelled “Tyrone,” or “Ty, take it all!”

After the robbery, both men ran east from the Speedway.

The first suspect is described as a black male wearing a maroon colored ball cap, gray hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up, black shorts, black socks, black slides, and black gloves.

The second suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hooded Nike sweatshirt with hood up, blue jeans, and unknown colored shoes.
