COLUMBUS (WCMH) — We’re only two days away from fall, and you know what that means… pumpkin-flavored everything! We asked NBC4 viewers where they get their favorite pumpkin-flavored treats, and here’s what they told us:
You know this had to be Central Ohio’s favorite. The famous festival has been going on for more than a century, and you can find everything pumpkin there. This year’s Pumpkin Show runs from Oct. 19 to Oct. 22, so make sure you don’t miss it!
Another Circleville attraction, Lindsay’s Bakery is famous for its pumpkin donuts. During the Pumpkin Show, Lindsay’s fries donuts round the clock, ensuring that these delicious treats are fresh and never frozen.
Rounding out the Circleville favorites is Wittich’s Candy Shop. The shop has been family owned and operated for more than 175 years, making it the oldest family owned and operated candy shop in the country! Viewers say you can’t pass up their pumpkin fudge!
If your pumpkin cravings run more on the adult beverage side of things, The Daily Growler is the place for you. Right now the Upper Arlington location has Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin on tap, as well as a variety of other fall beers.
Another place for those who love pumpkin beer, Smokehouse has one of the best around. Punkt is an imperial pumpkin porter with a perfect balance of pumpkin, fresh ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and allspice.
A German Village favorite, The Old Mohawk serves up a delicious pumpkin roll all season. Creamy goodness is wrapped inside a light and crumbly pumpkin bread and served with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle. Need I say more?
Another German Village creation, Schmidt’s puts a pumpkin spin on an Oktoberfest favorite. Their famous cream puffs are a delight any time of year, but once fall hits the pumpkin spice gives them even more appeal!
Sassafras is a great stop any time you need to satisfy your sweet tooth, but if you like pumpkin at all, you can’t pass up their bourbon pumpkin tart! It’s a tart, but has the texture and fall flavor of pumpkin pie!
Were you one of the first people in line earlier this month for your Starbucks PSL? Get your pumpkin latte fix from a local favorite! Located in the charming Clintonville neighborhood, you’ll get fair trade coffee and your fall fix at the same time.
Pumpkin spice pancakes are back at Sunny Street! They make their batter from scratch, cook them to fluffy perfection and then top them with a tres leches drizzle and homemade cinnamon butter! What could be better for a fall breakfast?!
