Suspected serial rapist accused of 3 additional rapes

Adam Jamar Sesay

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Prosecutors say a man who was indicted last month on three rapes, has been charged with three additional rapes.

According to Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien, Adam Jamar Sesay, now 19, has been indicted on 14 additional counts in connection to three rapes that happened between June 16 and July 14 in Columbus.

In this new indictment, Sesay has been indicted for multiple counts of Rape, Kidnapping, and Robbery.  “DNA recovered from the rape victim’s sexual assault exams or from their clothing matched Sesay,” O’Brien stated.  Sesay was indicted last month for three rapes that occurred between March 28 and May 27, 2016.

O’Brien says Sesay was stopped by police on July 2, driving a stolen vehicle of one of his victims with a handgun in the car.

Sesay is scheduled to be arraigned today. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
