CLEVELAND, OH (WCMH) — Mark your calendars, Ohio Gilmore Girls fans: Luke’s Diner is coming to Cleveland.

In honor of Gilmoreversary — the anniversary of the first episode of Gilmore Girls — Pour Cleveland is hosting Luke’s Coffee Day on Oct. 5. The coffee shop will transform into the iconic Luke’s Diner all day and will be giving away 200 free cups of coffee, from 7am to noon, on a first-come, first serve basis.

Pour Cleveland is one of only 250 coffee shops in the United States that will participate in Luke’s Coffee Day. While the cast won’t actually be at the events, fans of the show will have plenty of opportunities to win prizes and take photos of their best caffeine-deprived Lorelai Gilmore.

The event is in partnership with Netflix, which will begin streaming the revival of the classic girl-power show on Nov. 25. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
