LAWRENCE, MA (WCMH) — The mess left behind at a high school stadium left administrators of the Massachusetts school stunned.
Lawrence High School’s stadium was rented out by organizers of a Brazilian festoval over the weekend.
When students and staff arrived Monday morning, they found the field littered with trash, alcohol bottles and other debris. There was even a Coors beer truck left parked in front the the school.
Public Works crews spent hours picking up all of the litter. The beer truck was towed from the property.
School officials said the festival will not be allowed at the stadium for the ‘foreseeable future.’ They say they will go after the festival organizer and their insurance company for compensation.
