(MEDIA GENERAL) – Rickie Fowler should be making headlines for his impressive play during the weekend’s 2016 Ryder Cup, but instead, it’s a viral photo.

American golfers dominated the 2016 Ryder Cup, defeating Team Europe 17-11 on Sunday to claim their first crown since 2008. To celebrate, the team posed with their significant others, trading kisses – all except Fowler who is playfully shrugging into the camera.

Perhaps that should be phrased “temporarily single.” In the past year, Fowler has been tied to model Alexis Randock and former “Bachelor” contestant Lauren Barr. After posting the picture to his Instagram page, Fowler received several offers from female fans willing to substitute in for a smooch after his next big win.

Fowler earned two points for the Americans, winning in a foursome Friday while paired with Phil Mickelson and his Sunday singles showdown against Englishman Justin Rose.
