Two people transported after shootings in south Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus police say two people were taken to the hospital after being shot in south Columbus.

Police say the were responding to reports of someone being shot when they found Arthur Hayes II and Arthur Hayes III with gunshot wounds.

The first call came in around 3:32 p.m. Sunday at 1641 S. 4th St. The second came in at 3:40 p.m. in the area of South 5th St. and Hinkle Ave.

The men were both transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

Police arrested an unidentified 15-year-old suspect at the scene.

The shootings are under investigation.
