Columbus Police searching for three suspects in robbery, shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A man was hospitalized after three suspects robbed, shot, and pistol whipped him.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 2:44am, Monday, the 35-year-old male victim was attacked by three black males in the area of Hiawatha Park Drive and Clinton Street.

Police said the victim was shot in the leg, pistol whipped in his face and head, and robbed of his pants, cell phone and jewelry.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
