Parents upset after video shows daycare worker encouraging kids to swear

ALLENTOWN, PA (WCMH) — A daycare in Pennsylvania is coming under fire after video shows a worker encouraging some of the kids to curse.

According to WFMZ, the video originally appeared on Facebook, and now police in Allentown are investigating.

Jhanee Ivy says it was her friend who works at the Creative Minds Daycare, who sent her the video.  “As soon as she sent me the videos I immediately called her back and told her that wasn’t funny and she is working at a facility with children that don’t belong to her and the parents are trusting her  and it’s not okay to do that,” Ivy says.

Ivy told WFMZ she shared the video so the kids’ parents could identify them and take action.

“I was disgusted, I was upset, I felt embarrassed. More just surprised also because I never thought something like this would happen to my child,” Isla Millan, whose daughter appears in the video, says.

Millan says she cried after seeing the video and has pulled both her children from the daycare.

The daycare says they are investigating the matter internally and now the Allentown Police Department is also involved.

When contacted by the media, a family member of the woman who recorded the video says she was so upset by the situation, that she required medical attention. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
