Suspects hold Lion’s Den employees at gunpoint, get away with cash

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus police are looking for two men after they held employees at gunpoint and robbed a local Lion’s Den location.

It was after 7pm Saturday when the pair entered the Lion’s Den on Kimberly Parkway and ordered two employees to go behind the counter and open the register.

One suspect ordered the employees to sit on the floor while the second suspect got cash from the register. He held a gun to one employee’s head and said ‘Man, I want to shoot you.”

The first suspect is described as a male, black, standing 5’6″ to 5’7″ tall, 140 pounds. He’s 30 to 50 years old. The suspect was wearing a blue shirt and pantyhose over his head.

The second suspect is also a black male, standing 6’3″, 150-160 pounds. He’s also 30 to 50 years old. He was wearing a red hoodie and had a gray beard.
