PURCHASE, NY (WCMH) — By 2025, Pepsi says it will be cutting calories and sugar in dozens of its products.
According to CNN, the company plans to have at least two-thirds of its drinks at 100 calories or less in less than nine years.
The global food giant is also planning on reducing the saturated fat and sodium levels in many of its other products, like Frito-Lay chips.
Pepsi also said it is making plans to improve environmental impact, and promote human rights and diversity.
All the changes are based on consumer preferences, according to the company, as well as dietary guidelines from the World Health Organization.
