Buckeyes raise money for Operation Smile

COLUMBUS (WCMH)–Ohio State University students are working to raise awareness about the need for better access to safe surgeries around the world.

The local chapter of Operation Smile held a summit at the Ohio Union on Sunday. One of the main focuses was on raising money to get children with cleft palates and cleft lips the medical care they need.

Operation Smile works to break down barriers facing kids in developing countries.

Every $240 raised by the Operation Smile club at OSU helps a child get needed medical care. You can visit the club on Facebook.
