LEXINGTON, KY (WCMH) — Prosecutors say the 15-year-old Kentucky girl could face capital murder charges after she killed her stepmother and stole her car.
Jenna Oakley has been charged with the murder of her stepmother, Rhonda Oakley, 52, and her father says he expected the indictment.
“The whole time I knew who did this. And so no, it is not a surprise. I just want her to get what she deserves,” Phillip Oakley, Jenna’s father, told WKYT.
Jenna and her 20-year-old boyfriend were found in New Mexico after her stepmother was killed.
Phillip says he wants his daughter to be punished. “I have no remorse for whatever happens to Jenna. She deserves everything she gets.”
According to WKYT, Jenna’s boyfriend is currently on life support at a New Mexico hospital after attempting suicide while in jail.
