Man accused of raping teenage girl, posting video to Facebook

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A Columbus man is facing more than 15 years in prison after allegedly sexually assaulting a teenager and sharing the video on Facebook.

It happened September 3 at a home on Wedgewood Drive in Columbus.

According to Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Ron O’Brien, Mario Lamar Miller sexually assaulted the victim, while the victim and one of her friends were socializing at the home.

The entire incident was allegedly recorded and later shared to Facebook.

According to investigators, the victim was asleep when the assault happened. She learned it happened after watching the video on Facebook.

Miller is charged with one count of rape, one count of sexual battery and one count of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.
