HOUSTON, TX (KPRC) — A huge bust netted two arrests, dozens of pounds of marijuana, a cache of weapons, cash and a copy of the book “How Successful People Think,” Harris County sheriff’s deputies tell NBC affiliate KPRC-TV.
A tip about a larger than normal amount of visitors to a home in the 14400 block of Kenley Orchard Lane in the Longwood Village subdivision led to an investigation and a search warrant.
Deputies told KPRC-TV they recovered 83 pounds of THC, 264 ounces of Promethazine and Codeine, 26 bars of Xanax, 14 pounds of marijuana, 33 pounds of edible marijuana in cupcakes and Rice Krispie treats, two AR-15 guns, an AK 47 short-barreled gun, a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, two handguns, an SKS rifle, a bolt action-type rifle and numerous large capacity drum-style magazines for the AR-15s.
A photo from the scene also showed two books, “The Cannabis Breeder’s Bible” and the Wall Street Journal best-seller “How Successful People Think.”
Juston Dew, 21, and Octivous Williams, 25, were arrested and charged with possession of intent to deliver, and manufacturing and delivery. No bond has been set.
