Police identify men from Detroit as suspects in Columbus homicide

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus police are searching for two men from Detroit who are wanted in connection to a deadly shooting on the city’s south side.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 11:56am, October 12, officers were called to the 400 block of E. Markison Avenue on the report of a shooting.

When officers arrived on scene, they found Anthony E. Brown, 46, in the rear of the residence, suffering from a gunshot wounds. Brown was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Witnesses told police the suspects fired multiple shots before fleeing the area.

Police have identified the suspects as Jason J. Hicks, 38, and Anthony J. Robinson, 24, both from Detroit.
