Dad saves daughter’s Halloween during their flight with sweet gesture

BOSTON (WCMH) — When his daughter was upset that she had to miss Trick-or-Treat, because she was on a flight, Dad came to the rescue by bringing Halloween to her.

Stephanie Kahan tweeted a photo showing a note she received from a man on her flight, Monday.

The note, that was attached to a piece of candy, says that the man’s 3-year-old Molly was bummed because she couldn’t go trick or treating because they had to be on an airplane instead. So dad decided he was going to make it up to her.

“If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me.”

“OMG, my heart is exploding right now. Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat,” Kahan wrote in the tweet.

Kahan told NECN she talked to the dad, who wanted to remain anonymous, after the flight and he said most people participated. “It pulled at everyone’s heart strings.” The dad did tell Kahan that he wished he would have just talked to people though, instead of a note because some were confused.
