One upgraded to stable condition after shooting in Weinland Park

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person has been upgraded to stable condition after a shooting in Weinland Park.

Columbus Police say the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday on North 4th Street between 9th and 8th Avenues.

According to police, 26-year-old Terrance Drakeford Jr. was shot in the stomach. Drakeford was taken to Grant Medical Center in life-threatening condition and was later upgraded to stable condition.

Columbus Police say Tracey Kendrick, 30, is in custody and faces felonious assault charges.
