Columbus Police searching for bank robbery suspect

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus Police are searching for a man after a bank robbery on South High Street Tuesday.

The robbery happened at the US Bank inside the Kroger at the Great Southern Shopping Center around 4pm on Monday. Police say that the suspect demanded money from the bank employees, who complied. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in the robbery.

robberOfficers describe the suspect as a white male in his 50s, standing between 6’ to 6’3” and weighing about 185 pounds. The suspect has a full salt and pepper goatee.
