Wondering what to do with those election yard signs? Recycle them!

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — SWACO will be hosting a free yard sign recycling even this coming Saturday.

SWACO, along with the cities of Columbus and Gahanna will host the election yard sign recycling event, Saturday from 8am to 12pm at two locations in the area.

The event will keep yard signs from entering the landfill and littering roadways.

Anyone with an election yard sign can drop off their signs at one of two locations:

Bill McDonald Athletic Complex
4900 Olentangy River Rd.
Columbus, OH 43214

Gahanna City Hall
200 S. Hamilton Rd.
Gahanna, OH 43230

All paper and plastic (including coroplast) signs will be accepted, as well as the metal stands. All material will be recycled and no waste will be taken to the landfill.
