Man killed, another injured in northeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A man was killed and another injured Friday in a shooting in northeast Columbus.

Police found the victims just after 4pm in the 5700 block of Emporium Square.

According to police, 27-year-old Kasim A. Nurani was shot while inside of his car while in the 5600 block of Knighthood Lane, near the location where medics found the victims.

Nurani was taken to Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries, and was later pronounced dead.

Another victim, which police have not identified for their safety, was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Police say they are looking for a tall black male wearing a leather jacket with a hooded sweatshirt underneath.
