No injuries reported after a charter bus catches fire on I-70

LICKING CO., OH (WCMH) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says no injuries were reported after a bus caught fire on Interstate 70 Sunday afternoon.

A charter bus with passengers from Purdue was headed westbound on I-70 around 4:30pm when a rear tire blew and the bus caught fire.

The westbound lanes were closed for about 30 minutes while crews worked to contain the fire.

The state patrol says there was no crash due to the fire and no injuries were reported.
